POLO GROUNDS SEATS AUCTION

CT SABR will auction off two seats from the Polo Grounds to benefit the chapter treasury. The seats were generously donated by Mark Stoler, whose Dad removed them from the Polo Grounds in the 1960’s and brought them home to Connecticut.

-Opening Bid $200

-Ends on Sunday June 18 at 12 noon EST.

-This is an “As Is” auction. No returns.

-In person inspection: 10 am to 1 pm, June 10 at 123 Mohawk Dr., Wallingford, CT 0649

-Copy of Email about the origin of the seats from Mark Stoler included.

-Delivery method: Pick Up only, no shipping.

-Notes: The metal frame is in sound shape. The rear metal leg on seat 4 is missing. There is a visible wood crack in the top panel of seat number 3. They stand well on their own.

#4 is NY Giants history belongs to Mel Ott (1933 to 1947). #3 was that of Bill Terry from ’33 to ’36.
